During a sinus lift, Dr. David Nguyen surgically places additional bone material to the jaw lifting the sinus cavity higher. Following this advanced surgical procedure, patients will need to wait several months to ensure the bone and soft tissue have fully healed and that the additional bone is completely fused. Once the new bone tissue is fully attached to the natural jawbone, patients can receive one or more dental implant posts to support a tooth replacement prosthetic.
